It is the summit of the Annapurna Mountains that is situated in the south. The Mardi Himal trek consists of the steep landscape with the overgrown bamboo along with the beautiful rhododendron at its foot. This mountain lies on the south-western side of Machhapuchhare. Every year different tourists from various parts of the world make their way to the Mardi Himal Base Camp which is situated at the base of Mardi Himal. Best season to Trek

Mardi Himal trek gives outstanding views of the various Himalayas around the area. It is traveled in all seasons. However, it is best in the months from March to November.

Monsoon/Summer (June to early September)

This is the time of frequent rainfall in Nepal, the visibility will not be clear because of dark clouds, also while trekking on the trail you may face the risk of leeches, landslide, and slippery trail.

Trekking in Monson means, wisely prepare to avoid rain and leeches by wearing the rain covers and carrying the anti-insect cream or salt.

The temperature ranges between 10 to 23 degrees during the day and 5-10 degrees during the night.

Winter (Mid December to February)

During the winter season, nights are extremely cold at a higher elevation, extreme cold and heavy snowfall can block the trail and you need to be prepared with extra mountaineering equipment.

The average temperature ranges from 5- 10 degrees during the day and during night and morning temperature falls below -5 degrees.

Autumn (Mid-September to early December)

This is the best season to trek in Nepal, and the past-monsoon season, all the dust will be clear and the offers a clear atmosphere, you will enjoy the trekking along with the stunning visibility under the clear blue skies.

The temperature ranges between 10-20 degrees during the day and 5 degrees at night.

Spring season (March to May)

The second-best season to trek in Nepal and the time of colorful blossoms of Rhododendron and other wildflowers. This season you will explore the Mardi Himal trek with the best and unique experience by inhaling the aroma of flowers.

The temperature ranges from 15- 20 degrees during the day, Night and Morning will be stable cold.

Itinerary

Day 1: Drive or Flight to Pokhara (827 m,7 hours-25min)
Day 2: Drive to Kade and trek to Pitam Deurali (2,100 m,40min-4-5 hours)
Day 3: Trek to forest camp (2,520m,4-5 hours)
Day 4: Trek to low camp (2,970m, 4-5 hours)
Day 5: Trek to High camp (3,540m, 4-5 hours)
Day 6: Hike up to Mardi Base Camp (4500m, 5-6 hours)
Day 7: Trek to Sidhing (1,700m, 6-7 hours)
Day 8: Drive to Pokhara (3-4 hours)

Day 1: Drive or flight to Pokhara (30min or 7 hours)

In the morning, after breakfast, we will drive or fly to Pokhara.

Day 2: Drive to Kade and Trek to Pitam Deurali (2,100 m,40min-4-5 hours)

After proper rest, we will call Kade the next morning. We will begin our journey from Kade to Pitam Deurali via Australian Camp.

Day 3: Trek to the forest camp (2,520m,4-5 hours)

The next day, we will continue our journey to the forest camp. We will walk along a forested pine forest and pass through a rhododendron forest. We will have lunch and head to the forest camp to stay overnight.

Day 05: Trek to Low camp (2,970m, 4-5 hours)

We will have a little walk on this day. We will visit the lowland camp through the beautiful jungle and take in the beautiful natural Himalayan scenery of South Annapurna, Mt. Fishtail, Himchuli.

Day 06: Trek to High camp (3,540m, 4-5 hours)

On the sixth day, we are about to set out for the upper camp. We will walk through beautiful pine forests and rhododendron forests.

Day 6: Hike up to Mardi Base Camp (4500m, 5-6 hours)

After an early breakfast, we will continue our journey towards the viewing area. You can capture every minute from this view. After that, we will return to the upper camp.

Day 7: Trek to Sidhing (1,700m, 6-7 hours)

The next day, we will head to Sidhing village in Kaski district in Gandaki district. The village is made up of different cultures and traditions. We will spend the night in the valley of Sidhing.
