Weather and Climate of the Annapurna circuit
Before the trek, it is important to consider the basic knowledge of weather and temperature of the destination.
In Nepal there is a different season in a year, Spring (March, April, May), Autumn (September, October, November), Summer/Monsoon (June, July, August), Winter (December, January, February), due to the various landscape and altitude, the weather and temperature can change drastically.

These are the months of Autumn and consider as the best and popular months in Nepal. this month the trail will be overcrowded by the trekkers from around the world.
These are the months after Monsoon/Summer, so, the dust will settle down and the cloud will be clear. Nature will get back to life.
The temperature of the lower altitude will be warm; however, the weather at high altitudes will be quite cold. The temperature during day and night ranges from 15 to 7-8 degrees. Above 4000 meters the temperature will drop to 0 degrees, prepare yourself with an extra layer.

These are the months of the spring season and consider as the second best and popular months in Nepal. The trail will be busy and overcrowded by the fellow trekkers. So, the trail will be clean and easy to trek without risk.
The temperature of the lower altitude will be stable: however, the weather of the high altitude will be colder. The temperature during day and night ranges from 10 to below 0 degrees. Above 4000 meters, morning and night will be cold, prepare yourself with an extra layer. However, during May, the temperature during the day will start to rise between 18-22 degrees but the night will be still cold.
You will not miss the views of stunning mountains and green hills under the clear blue skies.

The weather of the Annapurna circuit in June, July, August
These are the months of the Summer/Monson season in Nepal. this is the season of frequent downpours and high humid, however, the early June and last of August do not get a frequent rainfall.
Due to the diverse geography of the Annapurna trail, it is possible to trek but this will not be the favorable months to do this trek.
These months are for those who love to walk with the rain and for the adventure lover, frequent downpours cause mudslides, landslides, and the trail will be slippery.
The Mustang region, the northern part of the Annapurna region will be dry because it is situated in the rain shadow area, and less chance of rainfall throughout the year.
This month the northern section of the Annapurna region is the alternative to trek. (Upper Mustang trek, Dolpo trek), it is in rain shadows areas of Nepal.
In the southern section, Manang, 600-800mm of rainfall will occur per month during Monsoon and 50mm in the northern part, lower Mustang.
Few trekkers make their way to the Annapurna region these months. However, you can explore all the highlights of this trek.

The weather of the Annapurna circuit in December, January, February
These are the months of the winter season in Nepal and the coldest months in the Annapurna Region.
The average temperature of lower to higher altitudes ranges from 7 to -8 degrees during day and night. However, the temperature of lower altitudes is quite stable than the higher altitude, night, and morning ae much colder than a day. The trail of Thorong -La pass will be locked due to the trail will be covered with thick snow. In early December is possible to cross the Thorang La pass.
The tea house will open throughout the year, with no worry about accommodation and meals on the trail. However, the views will be stunning this month, the thick white mountains get the extra charm. Wisely prepare yourself with extra equipment and layers to do this trek in the winter season.

Day 1: Drive to Beshishahar (6 hours) & Drive again by Local Jeep to Saynge (1200m - 2 hour)
Day 2: Trek to Tal (1700m - 5-6 hour)

Day 1: Drive to Beshishahar & Syange (800-1200m - 6 hours)

After breakfast, we will start our drive to Beshishahar which will take 6 hours to reach. Bypassing through the beautiful towns, villages, and countless bending. After a long drive, we will reach to Beshishar, then drive to Syange 2 hour through the Marshyangdi river valley.

Day 2: Trek to Tal (1700m – 5-6 hour)

We will start our trek after breakfast through the marshyandi river valley, we cross a suspension bridge after Chamche Village. On the we will see several waterfalls forming a river by the sandy beaches.

Day 3: Trek to Danaque (2250m – 4-5 hour)

We will start our trek after breakfast through Upper Tal, korte & Dharapani village before we finally reach Danaque. Annapurnna II & Mount Manaslu becomes visible as we arrive at Danaque, you will enjoy with colorful prayer flags.

Day 4: Trek to Chame (2700m - 6 hours)

We will start our Trek after breakfast with one and half hour climbing with pine, Oak & Fir forest till the Chame Village, The Chame is District headquarter of Manang District where you can enjoy with natural Hot spring & Local market. We will see remarkable views of Lamjung Himal & Annapurna II

Day 5: Trek to Upper Pissang (3300m-6 hours)

After breakfast we will start our trek to Pisang village, walking through the pine forest along the riverside, one and half hour walk will lead us to Bratang village, where we will stop for tea and enjoy the views of the mountain, we will continue our pace walking through the rhododendron forest and suspension bridge, 2-hour walk will lead us to Dhukurpohkari, which is our Lunch breakpoint and also offers the stunning views of Annapurna Range and Manaslu. After lunch, we will continue our walk up to Upper Pissang, which is a very beautiful village located underneath of Pisang Peak.

Day 6: Trek to Manang (3540m – 7-8 hours)

After early morning breakfast, we will trek through the pine forest. Our ascending walk will lead us to Ghyaru village, 3660m which offers the stunning views of Annapurna Range, Gangapurna, Tilicho, Pissang Peak, Chulu East, and Manaslu. Then 2 hours walk will lead us to Ngawal where we will stop for lunch. After lunch, we will continue our pace for three hours to reach Manang via Munge and Braka Village.

Day 7: Acclimatization day

Today we will rest in Manang, and hike to the Gangapurna Lake and Glacier of Small hill to explore the views of Manang valley and the Himalayan range. Acclimatization day will help us to get familiar with the thick air of high altitude. After exploring some moments, we will get back to the hotel.

Day 8: Trek to Yak Kharka or Ledar (4000 – 4200m – 5-6 hours)

Today we will start our trek after early morning breakfast, we will trek through the barren land, and windy trail, we will pass through the Tenki Manang and Gunsang village where the Tibetan people resident, we will enjoy the beautiful walk through the Chortens, stupas, and Mani walls and decorated Prayer flags. Our Ascending walk through the beautiful trail will take us the Yak Kharka village. After Yak Kharka if we are fine with altitude we can continue to Ledar also.

Day 9: Trek to Thorang Phedi or High camp (4540-4900 - 5-6 hour)

Today we will walk through the open massif valley which offers the amazing views of Yak Pasture, surrounded by peaks. Our ascending walk will lead us to Leader then Thorong Phedi,4540m via landslide are, need to be careful while walking. We will stop for lunch at Thorang Phedi then continue cliff walk to Thorong High Camp.

Day 10: Trek to Muktinath,3760m via Thorong La pass, (5416m – 8-10 hours)

Today our hike is challenging, we will pass through the highest point of Annapurna circuit Trek, Thorong La Pass. We will start our trek in early 4 am after breakfast. The walk is long and challenging, maintain your walk, do not rush until Thorong La pass point. after the pass we will descend to Muktinath, need to be careful while descending through the trail. After reaching Muktinath.

Day 11: Trek to Jomsom (2720m- 5hours)

Early morning, we will visit Muktinath Temple, the holy place for both Hindu and Buddhist, we will get back to the hotel after spending a few moments at Temple. We will start our trek to the Jomson After breakfast. We will pass through the beautiful village Kagbeni,2810m, on the way to Upper Mustang. We will enjoy the scenic view of beautiful mountains, Terrence land, and the heavy wind while trekking on the trail. We will reach to Jomsom by following the KaliGandaki river.

Day 12: Drive to Tatopani (1200m- 5 hours)

Today, we will take a sharing jeep drive to Tatopani, where we can enjoy taking a dip in the Natural Hot Spring water pool. We will reach to Tatopani by crossing many beautiful villages, Marpha, Larjung, Kalopani, and Ghasa. Drive will offer the dramatic natural scene of the high mountain, waterfall, Green Lush Forest. After a few hour drives, we will reach Tatopani, which is very famous place to heal the stress and skin diseases.

Day13: Drive to Pokhara (6 hours)

We will start our drive to Pokhara after early morning breakfast, we will explore around the Fewa lake at night.

Day 14: Drive or Flight to Kathmandu (8 hours – 30 min.)
We will take a tourist bus at 7 am or Take a Flight to kathmandu and say goodbye to Pokhara.
