Everest Three Pass Trek is an outstanding Trekking experience for the Soft adventure seekers. This trek is considered as the most thrilling and challenging trek in the Khumbu region, you will cross the three high passes by walking through the snow line – Kongma La pass (5535m), Chola La pass (5420m), and Renjo La pass (5360m) which is also known as the gems of the region.

 To hike on this trekking trail, you have to be physically and mentally fit, as you have to traverse on irregular terrains to reach each of these passes. The high passes offer stunning views of the Mahalangur Himalayan Range, including the giant Mt Everest.

The Everest three passes are connected with the four valleys of Bhote Koshi, Gokyo, Khumbu and, Imja. You will hike through the irregular and rocky trail to pass Khongma la, Cho La, and Renjo la along with conquering the three summits of Everest Base Camp (5364m), Kala Pattar (5545m), and Gokyo Ri (5360m) which offer to explore the breathtaking Himalayan experience.

You will cross the first pass, Kongma La, after spending a quality moment in Namche Bazaar and Tengboche Monastery. You will lead towards the base of Everest. you will continue your hike via Kala Patthar to the second pass, Cho la, located underneath of Cholatse peak (6335m), ascending to the trail will lead you towards the Gokyo Lake, chained with the Five fresh blue water lakes. Your continuous hike will take you to the Bhote Koshi valley via the third pass, Renjo La.

The Everest Three Pass trek will end at Lukla as you trace your way via Thame and Namche Bazaar.

You will trek for more than 2 weeks to complete the Three Pass trek, this trek is a combination of incredible scenery, adventurous high altitude, and unique Sherpa culture exploration. The best season to trek Everest Three Pass is Spring (March to May) and Autumn (September to November) Season.

Day 1: Kathmandu to Lukla Flight and trek to Phakding (2600m- 4 hours)

You will take an early flight from Kathmandu to Lukla. You will enjoy the unique geography and the scenic Mountain View.
After landing, you will start your trek to Phakding.

Day 2: Trek to Namche Bazaar (3450m - 6-7 hours)

You will start your trek after breakfast. You will hike along the bank of Dudh Koshi River, you will experience the thrilling Suspension bridge covered with colorful Prayer Flags. You will enter the Sagarmatha National Park after Jorsale village. You will follow the trail with the breathtaking views to Namche Bazaar, the gateway to Mt Everest and Khumbu Valley. Namche is the market town of the Khumbu region you will observe the great hospitality of the Sherpa people.

Day 3: Acclimatization day in Namche Bazaar

Today you will acclimatize in Namche where you can explore the village and the Sherpa culture. You will hike for few hours to Khumjung village and Everest view hotel to explore the attractive view of majestic Mountains like Nuptse (7861m), Thamserku (6623m), Ama Dablam (6856m), Mt Everest, and many more. Khumjung village monastery is known as the home of the yeti skull. After exploring and hike you will back to Namche to visit the vibrant market.

Day 4: Trek to Tengboche (3865m – 6 hours)

After breakfast, you will hike along the Dudh Koshi upstream to the water driven prayer wheels near Phunke Tenga. Then literally ascend via Imja Khola to Tengboche. You will stop for a while at Tengboche Monastery which is considered the spiritual place and oldest monastery of the valley. You will continue your pace to Tengboche village after exploring the monastery. Enjoy the view of the Mahalangur Himalayan range.

Day 5: Trek to Dingboche (4410m – 7 hours)

After breakfast, you will start your trek to Dingboche. Ascend through the Pangboche village by exploring the stunning view of Ama Dablam (6856m), Lhotse (8414m), and walking through the rhododendron forest. You will hike to uphill by crossing Imja Khola on the suspension bridge and you will reach the Dingboche via Somare.

Day 6: Trek to Chhukhung (4730m- 2 hours)

You will hike for only 2 hours, as an alternative to acclimatization day in Dingboche, you will hike to Chhukhung to decrease your rest day walk while crossing Kongma La Pass. The trail follows the Imja River Valley with an amazing panoramic closeup view of mountains. After crossing several villages, you will reach to Chhukhung.

Day 7: Trek to Lobuche via Kongma La Pass (4910m-5535m- 7-8 hours)

Today you will cross the first pass. This pass is considered as the highest pass among the three passes. The trail is quite challenging and steep uphill, a few hours ascend will lead you to the top of the pass. The magnificent view of mountains and the Khumbu Region will heal you. After enjoying a few moments at the top, you will continue your pace walking on the irregular trail to reach Lobuche.

Day 8: Trek to Everest Base camp via Gorak Shep (5364m-5140m – 8 hours)

After breakfast, you will hike to Gorak Shep. Hiking towards Gorek Shep is a rewarding walk, where you can explore the stunning view of snow-capped peaks and glaciers. The trail is bumpy so, walking on the trail might be difficult. You will take a rest at Gorak Shep then continue your hike to Everest Base camp. you will explore the Panoramic view of stunning mountains like Nuptse (7861m), Khumbutse (6665m), Pumori (7165m), and other surrounding peaks. After spending some moments at Everest Base camp, you will back to Gorak Shep.

Day 9: Morning hike to Kala Pattar and trek to Dzongla (5545m-4860m – 6-7 hours)

You will hike in the early morning to the top of Kala Pattar for the sunrise view. The sunrise over the majestic mountain is breathtaking including the closeup view of Mt Everest. After spending a few moments in Kala Pattar, you will hike back to Gorak shep then move ahead to reach Dzongla. A few hours ascend and descend hike will lead to Dzongla.

Day 10: Trek to Gokyo Lake Via Cho La Pass (4790m-5420m – 7 hours)

Today you will cross the second pass, the hike is quite tough as you will lead towards Gokyo Lake via Cho La pass. Ascend to through an ice-covered trek lead you to the top of Cho La Pass. You have to use crampons on a few sections to climb. You will enjoy the stunning view from the top of the pass: Chola peak (6089m), Everest (8848m), Lhotse (8414m), and another peak as well. You will descend through the slippery trail until you reach Cho La Phedi. You will walk through the Ngozumpa Glacier which offers an easy walk until you reach to Third Gokyo lake, Dudh Pokhari. You will be healed by the view of enhancing the lake on the surface of the peak of Cho Oyu.

Day 11: Acclimatization day in Gokyo and hike to Gokyo Ri

A rest day in Gokyo will offer the chance to hike up to Gokyo Ri (5360m), a small peak above Gokyo village. During day time you can enjoy the scenic beauty of lakes surrounded by the mountains.

Day 12: Trek to Lunden via Renjo La Pass (5360m-4368m – 7 hours)

You will start your trek in the early morning to cross the third pass and the last pass of the Everest three Pass. Hiking literally through the snow-covered path, you will reach the top of Renjo La, you will enjoy the Panoramic view of Cho Oyu (8188m), Everest (8848), Rolwaling Himalayan range, and many more. You will descend to reach the tiny village, Lunden, through the icy trail by observing the view of the different lakes like Renjo Lake, Relama Tsho, and Angladumba.

Day 13: Trek to Namche Bazaar (3450m-7 hours)

After breakfast, you will begin your trek back to Namche. Today the walk will be easy and relax. You will enjoy a descending hike with a view of the surrounding.

Day 14: Trek to Lukla (7 hours)

Today is the last day of our trek. You will follow the same trail until you reach Lukla.

Day 15: Fly back to Kathmandu

You will fly back to Kathmandu Early morning, enjoy your scenic and thrilling Flight.
