Gosaikunda trek is the combination of the remote settlements and stunning valley of Langtang with the high-altitude mountain lakes at Gosaikunda. Excursion the beautiful second largest Langtang National Park and then trek to the termination of the valley to explore the stunning mountain views.
Gosaikunda Lake is one of the holy lakes to the Hindus and Buddhist religion. People visit this place at least once a year, during the festival of Janai Purnima, full moon day. According to Hindu tradition, Gosainkunda lake is home to Lord Shiva and his wife Gauri. Devotees kindly believe that pleasing a dip into this holy lake rinse away their sins and agony. People believe that they can see the reflection of Lord Shiva in the lake.
Including, the beautiful lake, this trek offers the stunning view of Langtang Mountain Ranges, 5520m to 7234m, Dorje Lakpa, 6966m, Ganesh Himal, Manasalu, 8156m, and other surrounded peaks.

Succeeding through the Trishuli River north out of Kathmandu, you will drive through the Trishuli Bazar and Dhunche to Syabrubesi, the Sherpa and Tamang village situated at the very edge of the Langtang National Park. You will turn east into the Langtang valley. You will enjoy your hike through the beautiful forest of Oak and Rhododendron and even glacial moraine on your way to the Tamang village of Langtang valley.

A slight ahead up the valley is Kyanging Gompa, 3800m, where you stop overnight and taste the local yak cheese. While descending, you will hike through the Thulo Syabru and Sing Gompa to the high plateau, where the holy lake Gosaikunda is situated. You will continue to south trail after crossing Laure Benaya pass, 4610m, a departure from Langtang region behind as you hike through the Helambu valley to Gul Bhanjyang.

Day 1: Kathmandu to Syabru Besi drive (1462m-7hours)

Early morning drive from Kathmandu to Syabru Besi via Trishuli Bazaar and Dhunche Bazaar. you will explore the stunning white mountains, Mt Annapurna II, Manasalu, Ganesh Himal, and other surrounded peaks, as well as, the scenery of green hillock, rivers, and villages, while driving to Syabru Besi.

Day 2: Trek to Lama Hotel (2510m- 6 hours)

After early morning breakfast, you will start your trek by following the Langtang River, you will follow the river trail for a few days, all the way to the terminate of the valley. You will pass few suspension bridges while trekking, you will ascent to Pahiro lodge after that the trail will gradually ascend the trail climb up to Rimche, after an hour you will reach to Lama hotel. You will get a chance to explore wild animals like Monkeys, black deer, and red pandas on the trail.

Day 3: Trek to Langtang village (3450m-7 hours)

After breakfast you will follow the ascending trail up to Ghora Tabela through a dense forest of Hemlock, Oaks, Maples, and rhododendron, the glimpse of Mountain will welcome you, Langtang Lirung, 7244m. After, Ghora Tabela, the trail follows the pleasant Langtang Khola, hiking steadily up to the spread-out Langtang village, 3450m.

Day 4: Trek to Kyanjin Gumpa & Hike up to Kyanjin Ri (3800m-4700m, 7-8 hours)

The Trail ascends literally to Sindum and Yamphu, 3640m. you will pass the Laja Khola then climbs a moraine to a viewpoint where you can explore Kyanging Gompa and the stunning icefall flowing from Langtang Lirung,7244m, Langsisha Ri,6810m, Gyanghempo, 6888m. Ganjala Peak, and another surrounded peaks.

Day 6: Trek to Thulo Syabru Village (2260m-6-7 hours)

After early morning breakfast, you will follow the descending trail up to Pahiro Lodge. After that the trail ascent through the dense forest after crossing the river, you will gradually climb to Thulo Syabru village.

Day 7: Trek to Sing Gumba (3330m- 5-6 hours)

After early morning breakfast, you will pass through the school and Gompas, the trail will ascent through the forest of Hemlock and Oak until you reach to Dursagang, 2660m. the trail gradually leads you towards Sing Gompa, which is popular for the Yak Cheese factory and Buddhist Monastery.

Day 8: Trek to Gosaikunda (4380m- 5hours)

After the early morning breakfast, you will follow the ascending trail gradually up to Lauri Binayak, 3920m. you will explore the stunning panoramic views of Nepal and Tibet Himalayan range from Lauribinayak. After you will continue to hike up to a small temple with a statue of Sakyamuni and further you can explore the view of Saraswati Kunda (lake) and Bhairav Kunda than reach to Gosaikunda.

Day 9: Trek to Gopte (3440m – 5-6 hours)

Today you will follow the northern side trail of Gosaikunda Lake by passing three more small lakes, you will cross the Larrebinayak Pass, 4610m, then the trail will descend to Phedi, 3740m. You will follow the up and down trail until you reach to Ghopte.

Day 10: Trek to Kutungsang (2450m- 7 hours)

You will follow the ascending trail up to Tharepati, then you will hike through the easy descending trail bypassing the fir and rhododendron forest. You will explore the stunning view of Mt Dorje Lakpa Range on the way to Khutumsang 2450m.

Day 11: Trek to Chisopani (2140m- 6-7 hours)

Today you will follow the descending trail through the delightful hill village of Gul Bhangyang. Then gradually you will climb the ascending trail until the Thodang Betini and you will continue trek down to Pati Bhanjyang, 1860m, you will reach Chisapani, after passing through the village off Brahmin and Chhetri village.

Day 12: Chisapani to Kathmandu via Sundarijal (7 hours)

You will hike through the forest of Oak and rhododendron then you will reach Borlang Bhanjyang, 2440m. After you reach to Mulkharka, 1800m, you will start to see the view of Kathmandu valley. You will descend through the Sundarijal forest. Then drive to Kathmandu by car.
